The Old Cornmill, Staveley

On the site of a traditional former cornmill, situated in the National Park, this new three bedroom dwelling was designed to make the most of the opportunities of the site. The dwelling is situated on the bank of the River Kent. The river aspect was maximised by incorporating both a projecting viewing gallery as part of the living room and an outside terrace overlooking the river.

The contemporary design utilised traditional materials such as local stone, natural slate and render.
