Old Laundry Theatre 'in the round' and Beatrix Potter Centre, Bowness-on-Windermere

An existing laundry and boatyard site, close to the centre of Bowness-on-Windermere, was redeveloped to form the new leisure attraction. The visitors' centre and theatre have been a popular attraction to Lake District Visitors for circa 15 years and both successfully continue to draw people from all over the world to experience the 'World of Beatrix Potter' attraction, and the renowned 'all round' theatre which houses regular seasons by acclaimed acting companies.
