Holbeck Ghyll Country House Hotel, Windermere

This site is situated in the grounds of this first class country house hotel.

The new Conference Centre building was sensitively designed on the site of a former redundant open air swimming pool adjacent to the lodges – all with minimum disruption to the running of the business, and finished to an excellent standard under a full architectural service.

Built into the steeply sloping bank the roof is a paved viewing terrace and expansive glazing was incorporated into the external envelope allowing fantastic views across the hotel grounds to Lake Windermere and beyond towards the Langdale Pikes and the Western Fells.

The most recent project is the new Miss Potter Suite. This is the top guest suite at the hotel, consisting of quality detached accommodation in the form of lounge, bedroom, bathroom and viewing terrace with a hot tub and fabulous outlook across lake Windermere. Completed to a high standard with our full architectural service.
